dc.description.abstractIn this work, the opportunities of high resolution headlamps are used in combination with camera sensors as a visibility meter in fog. Different concepts are presented and investigated in a fog chamber. The results are on the capabilities of headlamps adjusted light functions, with which visibilities can be detected within different accuracies. Properties are derived that are relevant for this function.
