dc.description.abstractThe article is a tribute to Riccardo Del Punta, highlighting his many intellectual and personal qualities. The author reflects on Del Punta’s wide-ranging curiosity and his ability to bridge theoretical and practical aspects of Labor law. Del Punta is praised for his courage in challenging mainstream views and for his deep engagement with concepts like justice, equality, and dignity, especially through the lens of Amartya Sen’s (and others’) “capabilities” theory. His approach to Labor law emphasized individual freedom and dignity, offering a modernized and pragmatic perspective on the field.
