Topics are the activation of friction in connections and the use of long screws, which lead to positional imperfections. Design and execution of eccentric holes or holes arranged in groups and solutions for the realisation of point-supported floors are presented. Pragmatic approaches for the reuse of load-bearing timber components from deconstruction and country-specific approaches, experiences and building law aspects for high-rise timber buildings are discussed.
