| dc.description.abstract | The Chilean people and their institutions made a historic effort, with three plebiscites between 2020 and 2023, to approve a new Constitution in democracy. That effort failed and the new Constitution was left unfinished. The task cannot be left pending; it is more necessary than ever to find agreements for a new social pact that unites us and, thus, build a better future for Chile. This book presents the campaign testimonies of ten candidates for the last Constitutional Council in 2023, all with extensive political careers. They recount their experiences, lessons and learnings in the streets, with the people, in different regions of the country. All 10 transmit ideas that will open new paths in the time to come. The world is changing rapidly and our society cannot be left behind. | |
