dc.description.abstractWie funktioniert die Aushandlung unterschiedlicher Islamverständnisse im Lokalen? Anhand von Fallstudien in islamischen Bildungsräumen – Moscheen, schulischem Islamunterricht und digitalen Angeboten – einer Stadt im Ruhrgebiet beleuchtet Marcel Klapp ethnographisch die Praktiken gegenseitiger Kritik und innovativer Kompromisse, die Lehrende wie Lernende hervorbringen. Dabei zeigt er die Dynamiken muslimischer Selbstverortungen im Spannungsfeld von Salafismus und zivilem Islam auf, die den deutschen Islam in Zukunft prägen werden.
