dc.description.abstractOrigins have shaped contemporary literature. This volume is the first to take this into account from a cross-genre and intermedial perspective. It examines narratives of pluralized origins, the intersectional dissolution of their form-aesthetic boundaries leading to experiences of multidimensional vulnerability, attempts at upward class mobility, utopian consciousness, and dreams of the potential to be different.
