dc.description.abstractThis book examines the cultural memory practices and opportunities for participation of young people in the German migration society. With the help of qualitative and participatory research methods, individual, family and group-specific experiences of young people are worked out, which serve as a scientific reflection foil for the reconstruction of life-world memory processes - an interdisciplinary project that combines memory pedagogy, youth work and memory studies.

Das Buch dokumentiert die Erforschung dieser Praktiken, die in Teilen partizipativ angelegt war, und ermöglicht Einblicke in die Erinnerungskultur der deutschen Migrationsgesellschaft.
