Nonparametric identification of nonlinear dynamic systems

            Kenderi, Gábor (2018)
A nonparametric identification method for highly nonlinear systems is presented that is able to reconstruct the underlying nonlinearities without a priori knowledge of the describing nonlinear functions. The approach is ...

Optimizing Dual-Doppler Lidar Measurements of Surface Layer Coherent Structures with Large-Eddy Simulations

            Stawiarski, Christina (2014)
Coherent structures are patterns in the wind field of the atmospheric boundary layer. The deployment of two scanning Doppler lidars facilitates the measurement of the horizontal wind field, but the inherent averaging ...

Optimization of Hot-Electron Bolometers for THz Radiation

            Stockhausen, Axel (2013)
Hot-electron bolometers are fast and low noise radiation detectors which can be used for many different applications. The aim of this work was to optimize the fabrication process of hot-electron bolometers and gain a deeper ...

Phasenstabilisierung und Oberflächenaktivierung von Sauerstoffseparationsmembranen aus dotiertem Ba$_{0,5}$Sr$_{0,5}$Co$_{0,8}$Fe$_{0,2}$O$_{3-?}$

            Unger, Lana-Simone (2019)
Ba$_{0,5}$Sr$_{0,5}$Co$_{0,8}$Fe$_{0,2}$O$_{3-?}$ (BSCF) is the most promising material für energy efficient oxygen separation membranes. But its electrical and transport properties are unstable at temperatures below 840 ...

Phase-field modeling of multi-domain evolution in ferromagnetic shape memory alloys and of polycrystalline thin film growth

            Mennerich, Christian (2013)
The phase-field method is a powerful tool in computer-aided materials science as it allows for the analysis of the time-spatial evolution of microstructures on the mesoscale. A multi-phase-field model is adopted to run ...

Phase-field simulations of multi-component solidification and coarsening based on thermodynamic datasets

            Schulz, Sebastian (2017)
The utilization of thermodynamic and mobility data plays a major role in phase-field modeling. This work discusses different formulations for the thermodynamic quantities of a grand potential model along with practices to ...
