            Chapter 10 Final thoughts

Whitehead, Christopher; Bozoğlu, Gönül; Daugbjerg, Mads; Eckersley, Susannah (2019)
This final chapter takes up these questions, mining some of our ethnographies for support. One of these is the basis for a short diversion to a Turkish coffeehouse in what used to be the edge of West Berlin. This is a ...

            Chapter 4 Reversion and reprisal

Daugbjerg, Mads; Bozoğlu, Gönül; Whitehead, Christopher (2019)

            Chapter 9 Who is Europe?

McDonald, Ian; Whitehead, Christopher; Bozoğlu, Gönül; Eckersley, Susannah; Daugbjerg, Mads (2019)
This chapter is a set of accounts of the film Who is Europe? It is a conversation between the filmmaker and the editors of this book, some of whom were directly involved in the filmmaking too. It is a good idea to watch ...

Chapter 3 The instruments of European heritage

Zito, Anthony R.; Eckersley, Susannah; Turner, Sam (2019)
This chapter differs from others in this monograph in its focus on two political organisations, the EU and the COE, and their top-down efforts to engage with issues of heritage and identity. These organisations represent ...
