Chapter Dall’assolutismo al liberalismo. L’idea di lavoro in Colbert, Turgot e Ricardo

Abstract

The aim of this essay is to outline the evolution of the idea of work in the transition stage from pre-revolutionary absolutism to post-revolutionary liberalism by analyzing the thought of three influential figures who lived between the mid-seventeenth and mid-nineteenth centuries: Colbert, Turgot and Ricardo.
