Abstract

The ‘Preservation in Perspective’ conference, held in 2021 to mark the 10th anniversary of the Coordination Office for the Preservation of Written Cultural Heritage (KEK), provided an opportunity to discuss the present and future of original preservation. Among the topics discussed were current developments in preservation, synergies with digitization projects, and opportunities for cross-border cooperation in the protection of cultural property.
