Résumé

The book brings to the public exceptional texts of prominent Latin American women thinkers translated for the first time into English. It offers also a discussion of the contribution of the selected thinkers to show how their contribution moves beyond regional studies. The innovations found in the writings of the selected intellectuals are vital for the establishment of a truly global perspective in the humanities and social sciences.
