Abstract

The selection of the nine contributions included in this work is the result of a careful and deliberate process, which included the collaboration of different Latin American specialists, who helped ensure the quality of the works included here. From the editorial approach, we sought to ensure that the diversity and depth of each chapter reflected the richness of the research and training contributions, highlighting the social and cultural relevance of the topics, the contributions to public science, the interdisciplinary perspective, the diversity of approaches and contexts, innovation and current events, and the experience and expertise of the authors.
