            Résumé
This collection brings together studies on vernacular manuscripts in regional Chinese dialects such as Cantonese and Hokkien, those of non-Han peoples in China and Southeast Asia, and one in Vietnamese. Coverage includes contributions from scholars from a variety of disciplines and intellectual traditions, and provides information about the physicality of the manuscripts investigated and the vernacular scripts in which they are written.
