            Abstract
            What does it mean to be a teacher with a "migrant background«? This study presents four ideal-typical orientation patterns when dealing with the issue of belonging.
             
            Lehrpersonen sind nicht nur herausgefordert, anerkennend mit sozialen Differenzen und Zugehörigkeiten ihrer Schülerinnen und Schüler umzugehen – sie sind auch selbst in soziale Grenzziehungsprozesse involviert und machen mitunter eigene Erfahrungen von Begrenzung oder prekarisierter Zugehörigkeit. Carola Mantel rekonstruiert, inwiefern diese Erfahrungen lebens- und berufsgeschichtlich prägend sind und wie Lehrende daraus Orientierungsmuster für ihr pädagogisches Handeln ableiten. Sie identifiziert vier idealtypische Zusammenhangsstrukturen bei Primarlehrpersonen der zweiten Einwanderungsgeneration in der deutschsprachigen Schweiz.
