Geschichte der Komparatistik in Programmtexten
Grundbegriffe und Konzeptionen im 20. Jahrhundert – von Posnett bis Bernheimer
Abstract
Comparative literature today has become convoluted amid myriad reconceptualizations and declarations of its demise. In light of this situation, this book aims to reaffirm some of the central terms of comparative literary studies (e.g., border, otherness, comparison) and to critically review the definitions of the subject presented in significant programmatic texts written over the course of the twentieth century.
