Abstract

Foreign language learners often use online information to solve language problems but have difficulty using dictionaries successfully. However, in today’s digital, global and multilingual world, competence in the use of dictionaries and lexicographic online resources is an essential communicative strategy. This volume discusses how appropriate competences can be promoted and considers how lexical resources should be designed to support learners.
