            Abstract
            Die vorliegende Arbeit sollte als Versuch verstanden werden, auch dem Nicht-Polonisten einen ersten Zugang zum Schaffen Wyspiańskis und zu seiner Konzeption eines monumentalen Theaters (teatr ogromny) zu eröffnen. Die Verfasserin ging von dem Gesichtspunkt aus, daß das Werk Wyspiańskis, so außergewöhnlich es in seiner Zeit war, nur im Zusammenhang mit dieser Zeit verstanden werden kann. Das Herausstellen eines einzelnen Werkes, in diesem Falle des Dramas "Achilleis" von 1903, kann nur sinnvoll sein, wenn es in Verbindung mit der Entwicklung der europäischen Dramenliteratur um 1900 gesehen wird.

            Export search results
