            Konzepte authentischer Lebensführung junger türkischer Muslime in der Diaspora

            Abstract
            Der Islam kann in der westlichen Diaspora spezifische Möglichkeiten der Konstitution moderner Individualität eröffnen: Wie diese unter Gemeindemitgliedern in Bremen durchgeführte Studie zeigt, begreifen muslimische Jugendliche in Deutschland den Islam zunehmend als Religion in einem säkularen Kontext. Damit stellen sie ihn in einen Wertekanon, der seit der europäischen Aufklärung zur Zivilreligion gewachsen ist. Den Jugendlichen türkischer Herkunft bieten sich dadurch Möglichkeiten, das Stigma des Ausländers abzustreifen und durch die bewusst gelebte Zugehörigkeit zum Islam - durch Konzepte islamischer Lebensführung - Zugang zu gesamtgesellschaftlichen Diskursen zu erlangen. Die Studie vermittelt tiefe Einblicke in die Selbstbilder und die Lebenslagen junger Muslime in der Diaspora.

            Export search results

            The export option will allow you to export the current search results of the entered query to a file. Differen formats are available for download. To export the items, click on the button corresponding with the preferred download format.

            A logged-in user can export up to 15000 items. If you're not logged in, you can export no more than 500 items.
