            Abstract
The latest issue of History of Intellectual Culture (HIC) explores experimental spaces for knowledge production in the long nineteenth century, moving beyond traditional academic institutions. Articles delve into intentional communities, colonial gardens, and artistic colonies. The open section features papers on diverse topics ranging form the U.S. patent system, interwar British anti-intellectualism, and post-Holocaust cultural translation.
