Abstract

This volume contains the Proceedings of the International Workshop entitled (on the basis of Aug. conf. 10, 8, 14) In aula ingenti memoriae meae. Forme di autobiografia nella letteratura tardolatina, which was held in Siena on 13 and 14 June 2024. It was the first step towards the construction of an international network, with a dedicated website, on the general trends of Latin autobiography between IV-VI sec. d.C., with possible references to the centuries before and after. A brief introductory essay is followed by thirteen contributions, written by some of the major specialists of Late Antiquity, which analyze as many case studies related to that complex historical and cultural period.
