Image registration between MRI and spot mammograms for X-ray guided stereotactic breast biopsy

            Said, Sarah (2024)
This work proposes a novel method for a matching tool between MRI and spot mammograms. Two registration methods are used : a biomechanical model based registration between MRI and full X-ray mammograms, followed by an image ...

Multi-field modeling and simulation of fiber-reinforced polymers

            Schulte, Jonathan (2023)
This work proposes a new numerical approach for analyzing the behavior of fiber-reinforced materials, which have gained popularity in various applications. The approach combines theories and methods to model the fracture ...

Distributed Optimization with Application to Power Systems and Control

            Engelmann, Alexander (2022)
Mathematical optimization techniques are among the most successful tools for controlling technical systems optimally with feasibility guarantees. Yet, they are often centralized—all data has to be collected in one central ...

Reservoir quality controls and reservoir modelling of continental to transitional shallow marine sedimentary basins of Southern Nigeria

            Adamolekun, Olajide Jonathan (2023)
The object-based stochastic approach in facies modelling is important in the construction of geologically consistent 3-D reservoir models and in constraining the distribution of petrophysical properties. Tortuosity factor, ...

            Refraktive Multifokusröntgenlinsen und Hartmann-Shack-Sensoren

            Opolka, Alexander (2024)
Compound refractive X-ray lenses (CRLs) have an absorption-limited numerical aperture. In this work, an array of CRLs with slightly inclined optical axes is used to circumvent this limitation in full-field microscopy at ...

            Emanzipatorisches Wohnen

            Krüger, Anna (2022)
This monograph illuminates Myra Warhaftig's (1930-2008) architectural contribution to the 1984/87 International Building Exhibition in Berlin. The focus is on the life and work of a Jewish female architect in Germany, in ...

            Aufmerksamkeitslenkung mithilfe Innenraumbeleuchtung im Automobil

            Barthel, Maximilian (2020)
This work deals with the investigation and development of a new light function with the help of interior lighting in automobiles. The interior lighting installed in current vehicles is enhanced by an animation, thereby ...

Molecular Motor Based on Single Chiral Tripodal Molecules Studied with STM

            Skolaut, Julian (2023)
This work presents a single molecular motor driven by the current in an STM. Its chiral functional group is supposed to perform a rotation in a preferred direction, proven by Binomial tests to be statistically significant. ...
