            Abstract
Attribution of foreignness, (everyday) racism, social inclusion and exclusion - these are only few examples of the numerous challenges young refugees face in the context of flight and migration processes. But how exactly do young refugees position themselves and others in the hosting environments of Greece, Malta, Turkey, Germany and Switzerland? Within the framework of a migration and educational science analysis, this anthology examines the delimitations, limitations and localisations of migrating children and young people as they take place under the conditions of the migration policies of European countries. In addition, the authors take a look at transnational in-between worlds and shed light on the creation of new self-understandings and forms of action as well as the emergence of multiple affiliations.
