| publisher.peerreviewpolicy | Projects or manuscripts submitted to Editions IES go through the following process: <BR><BR> 1. A project or manuscript proposed for publication to Editions IES is submitted to the Editorial board which assesses the need of that publication and the adequacy with our editorial policy.<BR> 2. It can be refused at this point, or depending of the nature of the proposal be oriented toward one of our series. The editor of that series – a faculty member of the HETS - is then in charge of the follow up of that proposal.<BR> 3. Some editorial work can already be accomplished at this point.<BR> 4. If the manuscript is considered close enough to meeting the publication requirements of Editions IES, it is submitted to a commission of experts constituted of the Editorial board, University scholars, social workers and book professionals.<BR> 5. Two members (minimum) of the commission review the entire manuscript.<BR> 6. The manuscript is also submitted to an external field expert and to a theme expert if necessary.<BR> 7. A synthesis of critics and remarks are then passed on to the author by the series editor. <BR> 8. The manuscript is published upon integration of the modification requests. | * |
